Sacramento, Calif. – The campaign of Ray Green for Sacramento County Board of Education Area 2 today announced the support of Natomas Unified School Board Member Micah Grant.
“I’ve had the distinct pleasure of knowing Ray since college, and he’s definitely the type of guy you want in the trenches with you,” said Grant. “He definitely understands the importance of school choice and will fight for educational equity for all students. He has my support.”
Grant has served on the Natomas Unified School Board since 2016, focusing on parental rights, government accessibility and fiscal responsibility. As a legislative aide, he consulted to former Senate Education Committee Vice Chair Bob Huff. He also worked as a supplemental educational service provider in the Del Paso Heights area of Sacramento.
“Micah is an engaged Board member who rolls back his sleeves and gets the tough work done,” said Green. “He has a real heart for helping our at-risk you and is vocal about implementing measures to lower the expulsion rate. Having his support is tremendous.”
